The boss of Tesla and SpaceX had agreed to acquire the social network last April, before multiplying the reversals.

To justify his decision, he had highlighted the presence of fake accounts on Twitter, at the same time criticizing the American company for not providing him with enough data on the subject.

It is still difficult to know what the objectives of the whimsical entrepreneur are. 

But his decision makes sense.
