AIR SHOW FRANCE AIR EXPO LYON BRON 2023

The 16th edition of France Air 2023: Leisure and private aviation in the spotlight at Lyon Bron

From June 1 to 3, 2023, Lyon Bron airport is hosting the 16th edition of the France Air Expo show, dedicated to leisure and private aviation.

This unmissable event in France offers enthusiasts the opportunity to discover the latest innovations in the sector and to support general aviation.

Whether you prefer to travel IFR or VFR, by plane, high-speed train or even by car, this lounge offers different access options. The space dedicated to the event is set up in the airport zone for the duration of the exhibition.

If previous editions have sometimes posed difficulties of access in flight, things are changing for the better.

Our meeting with the tower control manager convinced us that improvements are underway.

In the years to come, we should see the specially designed car parks fill up more.

On the exhibitor side, the fill rate is also increasing. Many companies have understood the importance of meeting their prospects directly, with minimal preparation.

The most satisfied exhibitors are those who have prepared themselves in advance.

Their efforts allow them to welcome prospects who have come forward in the previous months and close deals in a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere.

The great particularity of France Air Expo is to bring together all the components of general aviation, from the major aircraft manufacturers to the designers of microlights, gyroplanes and equipment. Visitors thus have a global vision of the market, with more than 170 brands represented this year.

On the aircraft side, emblematic models are on display, such as the PC-12 from Pilatus, the M600 from Piper, the Kodiak with its cargo pod, the Diamond DA62, the Robin Aircraft DR401 CD-155, the Cessna 172 and the Grand Caravan from Textron Aviation

Daher also responds with its TBM, alongside lighter devices such as JMB's Elixir and VL3, Dova DV-1 Skylark, Shark and Blackwing, to name but a few. others.

It would be difficult to mention all the devices present, which is why a visit to this show is essential.

Nothing replaces your physical presence to get the complete overview.

For avionics manufacturers and their installers, this is an opportunity to spend more time with their prospects and review the details of the options to be installed in a machine.

The integration of the various sources of information and the interconnection of the radios with the rest of the electronics make these installations complex, even on the most modest aircraft.

The hot topic on all stands is obviously the price of aviation fuel.

Everyone is eagerly awaiting news regarding the certification of new unleaded aviation fuels capable of replacing the current AVGAS. This inevitably brings us to electric aviation.

Although it is still struggling to convince for immediate replacement applications of current aircraft, the machines present, such as the Velis Electro, the Cassio of Voltaero or the surprising creation of Electric Aircraft Concept, clearly show that it is not is not just a fad.

However, it will still be necessary to show patience before considering autonomy greater than one hour of flight for school aircraft.

This sector is in full mutation, where respect for the environment is a vital issue. Pilots, flying clubs, professionals and aviation enthusiasts, the France Air Expo show is there to help you discover, over three days, all the latest in general aviation and all the training in the aeronautics sector.

More than 190 professionals and brands will be present to present their latest generations of devices, as well as all the services and innovations associated with this sector.

This edition is a real vintage, full of exhibitors presenting many innovations.

Be sure to visit it and enjoy all it has to offer.
