WARSAW THE PARADISE VEGAN

The Polish capital is the third most vegan city in the world ...

Head to Lokal Vegan Bistro, a vegan restaurant that opened just three years ago in the very center of Warsaw.

This establishment serves 300 and 500 meals per day.Tartare of tomato and rice, revisited version of the classic kotlet schabowy, the Viennese schnitzel: breadcrumbs of soy, crispy to perfection

Happy Cow, a reference site for English-speaking vegans, counted no fewer than 38 vegan establishments last August.

A figure that keeps increasing.

To the point of propelling Warsaw to the third place of the most vegan cities in the world, behind Berlin and Los Angeles.

The trend spares no major cities in Poland. Soy milk, hummus and other key elements of the vegan diet are now available at a reasonable price in supermarkets all over Poland.

A food processing that runs through part of Polish society would be nothing without social networks:

the Poles are offended by the real living conditions of the farm animals and refuse to take part in the system.

A shared feeling throughout Europe.
