THE 14TH GOAT FESTIVAL

Musical and artistic event in its 14th edition: a good vintage !

Like every year, the festival is held at the Auberge de la Buissonnière, 69690 Courzieu, France, and it's a rain of talent to be discovered !

The Festival des Fromages de Chèvre, so named because of the presence of a goat farm on the site, aims to bring together in its program professional artists and amateur artists who are excluded or have disabilities. The festival brings together artists from all social and geographical backgrounds, sharing the same stage, the same place.

Musicians, singers, actors, are present, and faithful to the founding principle:

"Give voice to those who do not have it and for reasons other than those who have it".

The voices of well-known artists and others equally talented, but evolving off the radar of fame, men, women, teenagers, the excluded, the disabled, all share the same stage and the same audience, for everyone's greatest pleasure !

Give artists who are emerging or just starting out a chance to be listened to, appreciated, in all simplicity.

The principle of the goat's cheese festival consists in revealing to the spectators a deliberately vague program, where only the names of the artists appear but not the time of appearance, the public attends the performances out of order, a way of encouraging them to listen to or see the artists we never talk about.

The list of artists for this 14th edition was as follows:

Rouge Plus: Thomas Pitiôt - A singer who knows how to write with a guitar and a piano: swing that rattles!

A Piano in Revolt: Pascal Bertonneau - Our piano tuner came to give us a François Béranger recital: a treat.

Des Invisibles: Les Cœurs Blancs - Association "Les Midis de la Mie" - Songs written in workshops by unaccompanied minors sung by Paccoud and the Sister Sistem.

The Incredible: Stag - Unpopular songs the people love!

A Wedding: Cie Étoi Émoi - Cie Les hommes improbables - The triumph of the festival, a wedding that we are not about to forget.

Poum Poum: Thomas Dalle - The master of the tempo who carries the poets and makes the crowd yell Michaud.

Des Qui Cognent: Onde de Choc - Punk Rock from Saint-Étienne. The anarchist generation!

One and Slammers: Mehdi Baoufi - Surrounded by slammers and slammers who light up the night with their texts and songs.

One from here: Claudine Lebegue - Powerful singer who does not mince her words, capable of making the punks waltz from the top of our big stage: a stroke of love in the hearts.

Two Short Stories: Goast - Pop songs with two female voices, we want more!

Un Barbu: Ruck Blick - A unique voice accompanied by an accordionist just right. A show that starts and will become a CD...

Joy Chantée: Las Cuerdas - A journey in song by an opera singer and two guitarists.

Normand: François Lemonnier - A show for children as we would like everywhere and every day!

Our mascots: Les Roses en Délire - Association "L'Élan Argonnais" - A troupe of special people who gave us a lesson in theater that will remain etched in our memories.

Verbal Elegance: Wladimir Anselme - A writing, a pen as they say that goes beyond reason. In addition, he offered the children "The cromosaurs of space".

The Poet: Nour - Tactile songs on the piano and an "almost guitar". An artist who does not go there by four paths!

L'Enervé: Fab Zoreil - Pure Parisian blues! A very electric guitar and a drummer well in the groove. The walls of the Bergerie still resonate with this unique moment.

Des Qui Revien: Wind in the Microphones - A cocktail of poetic-festive songs with punch and virtuosity by a cocktail of musicians from various groups from Nancy.

In order to introduce these groups of amateurs who generally have a limited audience, made up mainly of friends and family members already acquired, we rely on the notoriety of certain artists to attract a large audience.

To do this, we disclose the names of all participants as well as the show times, while keeping the content of each session secret until the last moment.

This approach makes it possible to bring together a large audience for each performance, always benevolent and open to surprise. The result is attentive listening and shared joy during these unique moments.

At the same time, these shows find the true roots of popular theater, in close connection with the land and the local population.

This process thus generates an enriching experience, both emotionally and culturally.

Happy are those who were lucky enough to be able to go to the goat festival, we are already looking forward to going to the 15th edition of this festival, and we will not fail to inform you of the dates of the next edition.

All the artists who were present pleased and moved us, but in particular the theatrical troupe Cie Étoi Émoi / Cie Les hommes Improbables with their play: Un Mariage !

Thank you all for this magnificent festival, make the trip because the Courzieu goat festival is worth the detour !!
